2010 National Silver Medalists! 2009 National Bronze Medalists! Villanova's 2009 "Most Improved" Club Sport of the Year!
Current News: The Villanova Curling Club is currently ramping up for the start of its 2010-2011 curling year! The club is currently holding enrollments, so...if you've ever asked the question, "can I try this crazy sport?"...our answer will be an undoubted YES! The club will be holding its inaugural meeting early in the fall semester 2010 - stay tuned for more information. Summer 2010 also saw some action for the Villanova Curling Club. Yes, you've heard us correctly - SUMMER CURLING! The VCC rounded up a team and headed out to the midwest to compete in the first-ever summer bonspiel at Canlan Ice Sports in Ft. Wayne, IN, the weekend of August 21-22.
Our Mission: The mission of the Villanova Curling Club is to introduce the sport of curling to all members with the goal of forming competitive teams to curl against other collegiate clubs at a local, regional, and national level. Most importantly, this club aims at having fun, forming lasting friendship, and promoting good sportsmanship while learning this unique sport.
