2008 Villanova Men's Volleyball National Team

  H I S T O R Y
     Villanova men’s club volleyball team was initiated in 1997. That first team laid the foundation for the future years of men’s volleyball here at Villanova. In their initial season, the team ran over their competition with an overall record of 15-3, winning the MACVC East league. They continued on a winning streak in the Central division the past 10 seasons and now play in the the MACVC East again.
      Their domination of the Middle Atlantic Collegiate Volleyball Conference hit a peak in 2003 when they won their first conference championship. This success continued and in 2004 they placed 2nd, 2005 5th, and 2006 3rd.
      The MACVC has established itself as one of the strongest conferences in the country at the small college level. It is also one of the largest conferences with at least eight teams in each of their Central, North, East and West divisions. On a National level, Villanova placed 19th the last time they went in 2003 and hope to improve this year as they travel to Dallas to compete in April.

Placed in Silver bracket in Nationals and finished 25th in the Nation for Division II.
