Running a club is not cheap. Villanova presently supports 28 clubs on a strict budget. The club collects dues from players just to cover the cost of playing its regular season schedule, but also must replace equipment that depreciates over time. Villanova also plans on attending NIRSA Club Nationals in Dallas, Texas from April 1-3, 2010. Having attended this event in 2008, returning members of the team knows how amazing and expensive the experience is. The trip cost over $8,500 for eight members of the team for airfare, hotel and tournament fees.
