2008-2009 Season
Villanova finished the 2008-2009 season with a record of 6 and 5, including 4 straight wins over tough divisional opponents. This surge helped the Wildcats overcome a challenging early schedule that included several top opponents. Carried by senior captain Drew Lacy, Villanova improved steadily throughout the season. A steady core of returning players will also help to boost the team back to prominence next year.

Villanova's 2008 team finished 25th at Division II Nationals in Dallas, Texas. The team also finished with an overall record of 8-3.
